Wacky Hair Day and Maywood Mail Carriers

Room 47 taught the character trait of Citizenship to Maywood this month. We reminded everyone of their responsibilities as a Maywood Turtle: Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Your Best!

Stuffed Animal Party and T-Shirt Group Shots

Five people brought stuffed animals to school for our party. Steven is borrowing my stuffed animal. We had fun having our stuffed animals at school for the day. Carlos

Last Full Week of September

Alec just joined our class. He is very kind. We're glad to have him in Room 47. Dorothy

Ms. Badeau came into our classroom to tell us about prairie forbs and grasses. This is the cup plant. Carolyn

It was fun to make our own menu with Ms. Waara

for our lunch for our families on November 3. Denali

Ms. Lyons made us Maywood Mail Carriers. It was COOL!

We get to stamp the mail, put the mail in the bags and deliver it. Owen

Crash Helmet Came to Maywood/Wacky Turtle Spirit Day

Crash Helmet came because he always reminds us to wear our helmet if we are doing tricks on our bikes, scooters, or anything with wheels. Thomas

Crash Helmet likes all the kids at Maywood and he wants us to be safe. Jacob

Room 47 led the pledge at our Wacky Turtle Spirit Assembly.



I like how Ms. Hiller's class taught us about Appreciations. Everyone was quiet and respectful at the assembly. Fasika
